PFI InStore seeks to fill a POP Structural Designer position at our Hazlewood, MO, manufacturing facility.
The POP Structural Designer interacts with sales representatives and customers to ascertain design needs and creative objectives.
PFI is a leading designer and fabricator of retail store displays and fixtures. We specialize in creating custom injection-molded single-serve coolers to drive impulse purchases at convenience and grocery stores. We also design and manufacture a variety of specialized retail racks and fixtures made of plastic, wood, metal, or wire. Associates work directly with leading retailers and brands like Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Red Bull, Anheuser Busch, and many other Fortune 500 companies to create shopping experiences seen every day.

- Works with Sales Reps & customers to develop creative solutions
- Develops innovative display component solutions
- Improves upon current creative solutions
- Interacts with customers to determine design/display needs
- Provides conceptual structural solutions to meet client objectives
- Works with & through various mixed medium materials to provide solutions
- Completes routine & complex structural design projects
- Prepares structural design files for prototypes, mock-ups, & production
- Maintains & generates project records per company policy
- Monitors & follows creative quality control procedures
- Ensures direct customer feedback is promptly communicated
- Counsels Sales Reps & customers on design needs for the product
- Proactively provides creative solution suggestions
- Maintains & manages effective time management schedule
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Bachelor's degree in industrial design (or similar field)
- Background in Corrugated Design
- Proficiency in Arden Software - Impact CAD, Esko - Artios CAD, or Similar
- Ability to manage sophisticated computer equipment
- Understanding of Adobe Software Suite
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
