PFI InStore seeks to fill an Industrial Maintenance positionĀ at our Hazlewood, MO, manufacturing facility.
Industrial Maintenance is responsible for performing all mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance aspects on equipment and facility.
PFI is a leading designer and fabricator ofĀ retail store displays and fixtures. We specialize in creating custom injection-molded single-serve coolers to drive impulse purchases at convenience and grocery stores. - Provides innovative solutions to resolve ongoing breakdowns
- Troubleshoots & performs preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment
- Makes necessary equipment repairs & adjustments to minimize downtime & maximize efficiency
- Utilizes Amp Meter, Fluke, & other test equipment
- Checks electrical circuits, machine operations, & process instrumentation
- Analyzes equipment to improve efficiency, safety, & quality
- Maintains legible & accurate records, documentation, reports, etc
- Completes maintenance service requests
- Performs routine preventative maintenance
- Follow-ups on status of equipment modifications & work orders
- Meets with vendors and contractors as necessary to ensure continued efficiency & maintenance of equipment & facility
- Ensures good communication between management & supervisors
- Performs sanitation requirements as needed or required
- Performs other duties as assigned or required
- Mechanical Systems, Facilities Technology, or Building Maintenance degree from an accredited institution (preferred)
- 2+ years maintenance experience or equivalent technical training
- Ability to interpret & analyze electrical diagrams & schematics
- Ability to work on plant facilities & equipment safely & effectively
- Understanding of requirements & importance of documentation
- Ability to perform basic wiring up to 480 volts
- Understanding of electronics and mechanics
- Must possess basic knowledge of the following systems:
