PFI InStore seeks a Financial Analyst at our Hazelwood, MO, operations facility.
The Financial Analyst creates & provides the management team with reports on several key areas of the organization.
PFI is a leading designer and fabricator of retail store displays and fixtures. We specialize in creating custom injection-molded single-serve coolers to drive impulse purchases at convenience and grocery stores. We also design and manufacture a variety of specialized retail racks and fixtures made of plastic, wood, metal, or wire. Associates work directly with leading retailers and brands like Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Red Bull, Anheuser Busch, and many other Fortune 500 companies to create shopping experiences seen every day.

- Inventory Management
- Manages inventory levels of standard products
- Works with cross-functional teams to reduce inventory associated with custom, slow & non-moving products
- Expands inventory management over time to include all PFI InStore divisions
- Product Management Support
- Works with product management team to launch new products, including:
- Pricing
- Sales collateral
- Management of inventory investment
- Recommends phase-out of products based on historical data & statistical analysis
- Assists in managing product strategy
- Works with product management team to launch new products, including:
- Prepares weekly inventory availability reporting to supply chain & sales teams
- Assists product management teams in understanding sales & margin performance
- Supports pricing teams to ensure quick & accurate pricing is provided
- Conducts monthly inventory analysis to understand effectiveness of inventory reduction initiatives
- Supports overstock sales initiatives by providing visibility into availability of custom products
- Prepares monthly sales & margin reporting
- Provides market analysis for development of sales initiatives
- Maintains product database to provide deeper insight into inventory & product sales
- Recommends phase out of products using historical data & statistical analysis
- Provides basic updates of catalog & customer price lists
- Provides general updates to pricing modules throughout the year
- Provides sales team with discrete SKU pricing as needed
- Conducts pricing validation on new item creation & daily sales
- Assists with custom pricing as needed
- Supports the finance department as needed
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1-3 years experience in accounting
- Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques & general account procedures
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Strong analytical & critical thinking skills
- Strong personal initiative
- Ability to work independently
